Eat. Sleep. Jump !
Just got back from riding the bike around the block. It was a pretty good ride and I felt good doing some sort of athletic activity again. With a little help from my dad I put in new brakes and oiled up the gears, which got this baby running pretty smooth. The death of my ride was definitely all the hills and steep turns in my neighborhood.
Im thinking of bring the bike back up to campus with me, although I’d rather get a new one (we’ll see what happens by the end of the summer.)
Im itching to start training on Monday but I think i’ll cheat and start a day early. Nothing major, maybe just a couple miles tomorrow morning to get me feeling right again.
Love Always

Shanti ;-)

Shanti or शांति means Peace in Sanskrit. This summer I am determined to find my inner peace (or just become really flexible) by practicing yoga.

With the help of hours of yoga, gym time, running workouts, and chasing after a group of hyperactive six year olds at the camp I work at I will in turn get more fit and ready going into preseason of Indoor Track.

Oh and I forgot to mention the hours of rehabing my injured knee (tendinosis from too much high jumping of course) and dealing with the pain in the process, which should be tons of fun fun fun :-)

Love Always,

Jas
